Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) Celebrating Animals, Confronting Cruelty. From animal rescue to legislation to wildlife protection, HSUS is the nation's largest animal protection organization.

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) The ASPCA works to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States; it operates the Animal Poison Control Center, a Behavior Center; and is responsible for humane law enforcement in some areas of the country.

Humane Alliance Home of the National Spay Neuter Response Team. Operating as a regional (North Carolina) high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter clinic since 1994, the Humane Alliance now mentors spay/neuter programs across the country and offers a veterinary student externship and private practice veterinarian training program.

American Humane Association (AHA) AHA works to create a more humane and compassionate world by ending abuse and neglect of children and animals.
