A True Pets Alive Story

Ray J came home

Ray J escaped his carrier just before his appointment and spent a month in the woods behind our clinic. Kari from our team spent evenings and weekends earning his trust. He went home in April.

Gifts to Pets Alive fund surgeries — and they also fund the people who don't give up on an animal. Read Ray J's full story →

Your Impact in Real Numbers

Every $90 you give funds a complete spay or neuter surgery for one cat — including anesthesia, the procedure, and aftercare instructions. Every $130 does the same for a dog.

Since 2005, we've performed over 230,000 surgeries. That's 230,000 pets who got affordable care because of supporters like you.

“They are a godsend for us senior citizens on a fixed income… and we always donate in the $ jar. So thankful that Bloomington has this service.”

Give in Honor or Memory of a Pet

Some of the most meaningful gifts we receive are made in memory of a beloved pet, or in honor of one still curled up at home. A memorial gift turns the love you shared into care for another animal — one surgery, one vaccine, one family kept together.

To dedicate your gift, make a donation and then email us at info@petsaliveindiana.org with the name of the pet or person you're honoring, and we'll record the dedication with your gift.

Most-Needed Supplies

Not every gift is a dollar. Our recovery kennels and exam rooms run on everyday supplies, and donated items go straight to work — often the same week.

  • Clean towels and blankets (used is fine — the animals don't mind)
  • Pet carriers, especially cat-sized
  • Cleaning supplies: paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach

Drop-offs are welcome at the clinic during business hours (Mon-Thu: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), or email us for our current needs list.
