We're always looking for caring volunteers to help at the clinic, with events, and administrative work. Whether you have a few hours a month or a regular weekday slot, there's a place for you on our team.
What Volunteers Do
Clinic Assistance
Help with check-in, prep animals for procedures, assist with post-surgery recovery monitoring, and comfort pets and their owners.
Event Support
Represent Pets Alive at community events, help with fundraisers, and spread the word about our low-cost services.
Administrative
Answer phones, organize records, help with mailings, and support our team with day-to-day operations.
TNR & Outreach
Assist with our Trap-Neuter-Return program, help transport feral cats, and connect community members with resources.

Join Our Board of Directors

Pets Alive is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors — and we're actively looking for new directors to help guide the next chapter of a $1M+ nonprofit that performed over 8,900 surgeries last year.
Board members help set strategy, safeguard the organization's financial health, champion fundraising, and represent the clinic in the community. You don't need to be a veterinarian: we especially value experience in areas like finance and accounting, law, fundraising and development, marketing, healthcare, and community leadership — paired with a genuine commitment to the mission.
If you're interested, introduce yourself below. The Board Chair reviews every application personally, and we'll follow up to talk through expectations, time commitment, and whether it's a good mutual fit.
